The experiences of children, family, nature, philosophy, education, poets, and two states I love: Tennessee and Vermont! The blog is named after the two state trees that describe the states I love: Sugar Maple (VT) & Tulip Poplar (TN). If you know me very well, you probably know I've loved the name Maple since I was little! (Maple Belle) :) (Maple Poplar)

It seems there was an injury to the wing. After a trip and three weeks at Walden's Puddle in Joelton, TN....our saved hawk was ready to be released.
