~ Last week of Sweet May~

This week was Hillary's First Grade Spring Program topped with the annual Black Fly Festival in Adamant, Vermont. It was a busy day at work to be a 4-day work week. Today is cloudy, rainy and turned cool....about 50ish.....the blackberries are in bloom.....or maybe it's the raspberries...either way I'm calling it Blackberry Winter here in Vermont.
Cooper had a game Friday night as well as Brock. Coop faced Chester at home....afterwards we had some dinner at the Pizza Stone......He played a great game. Brock faced Bellows Falls (under the lights lol). Both Springfield teams were defeated. Shane stayed with Brock after the game and pretty much throughout the weekend.....they've played a lot of baseball outside this weekend....which is always a good thing :)

Pictures as of late:

Brock made this for me.....so sweet. (Mr. Weyer made him though.....lol) But still, sweet.

~Memorial Day~

I've done less writing lately....and more pictures as one can surely tell below...but, I have words...they are just in my head as I travel from work, to ballgames, to run errands.....and never take the time to write them down....one day I will. We are here this afternoon, but our minds, hearts, and thoughts are back home...thinking of Pappy. A few hours ago, Grammy called and he had been rushed to the hospital for possible heart attack symptoms. We are worried and concerned. Wish we were closer tonight. So far, we've learned he is stable and an evaluation is being conducted to make certain all is well. We love you Pappy!

This weekend and leading up to this weekend has been busy: School trips, family and friends over, sleep overs, more trips to Boston.....Red Sox!, fishing, New Hampshire Fisher Cats game, Plimoth Plantation, baseball games and practices......below are some pics as of late with a little commentary that follows:

Happy Trails

Cooper at Fisher Cats game with Logan F. Word is that Coop had fastest pitch....won a hat! Got some soon to be famous signatures on a baseball while there too :) What a fun day that was had....

While Coop was at the ballgame with Logan....we had a planned grill out.....see these young'uns on the front porch.

Ahhhh...the bird I've been trying to find....Rose-breasted Grosbeak.....saw it and heard it while on Ascutney.

These cowgirls want to sell some lemenad.....yep, any takers? By the way, they are cute....the sign says it!

Fisher Cat......

Lots of these ....round here by the river....Catbirds...used to have a lot in Bon Aqua, not so much now-a-days.

I've never seen one of these....today I did....Yellow Warbler....very pretty, indeed.
