We started Friday night preparing and loading up with our great helpers (cough) Brock & Cooper! :) Ha. Ha. Saturday we had the help of some wonderful boys that play football for Springfield and also a gracious father- all devoted their time to helping us....so sweet of them! It was Parker's birthday and his mom dropped off a birthday cake to celebrate in between the moving episodes.....(picture below). We worked around the house late that night and Sunday we cleaned our house top to bottom in Ludlow. I'll kind of miss that house ...it grew on me....those woods, paths, and feel. It reminded me so much of my house on Spring Creek. This house that we are in now is a perfect match to two houses I have lived in on Luther Lane....the A-frame and our house (due to all the wood). Anyway, there's a little HGTV for ya :)
Sunday we had a surprise visit from Brock's baseball coach and his friend, Colby. Afterwards, we went to New Hampshire to grab a few things we needed - including Vandy a new battery for his collar....he feels like he's in Tennessee lately....running free! :)
This house is very close to the bike path...it extends several miles and you can run, walk, bike, etc.
Oh, and football camp started today with the rec. center and Brock and Cooper are headed to that now! It runs all this week.
AND....I got a call today from Elm Hill (where Hillary will attend school) and she has Ms. Perkins! (Ava's aunt) So, Hilly and Ava will be in the same class this year.....:) Great news!
Hillary was swimming with Ava when I got the news....so Morgan let them know! Hillary, Brock, Cooper, Gary and I are grateful to have wonderful friends as the Browns....they have helped us so much as we have made this transition! :)
I just love the windows in this house....They remind me so much of Nantucket....or Cape Cod.
