~Spooky~

Today was work as usual.....good week! The quarter ends this week. First one behind us! Brock has signed up for the Gettysburg trip and Cooper is fundraising currently for his Plimoth Plantation in MA this spring with his school. How lucky! Brock went bowling this week with his adventure class and his health (sex ed.) class came to a close! LOL WOW.......

Tonight I got home and quickly got Hillary dressed as a pirate. It changed several times between a witch to a pirate.....ended up a pirate. Hillary and Coop were allowed to dress up at school today and Hillary's school had a parade to show off their costumes! Wish I could have been there!
We quickly hurried up to go over Joe's and Morgan's for supper....we brought chili (Gary made). It was such a fun time.....We trick or treated around the streets of Commonwealth - crunching in leaves...pumpkins and visiting with everyone....such a nice time...We are so happy to have spent it with everyone!!! Thank you, Morgan & Joe :)

Afterwards......we headed out to Brattleboro (what a cool town)!!!!! Brycen and Deacon met us in Brattleboro and then we went to Gaines Farm for a haunted hay ride (so neat) and a haunted corn maze! WOW.....such a great evening....we know because Hilly and Coop were passed out in the field. We met Brycen's mom, Sarah and her boyfriend, Chad. They were really nice! Such a great time.....Hillary especially liked walking through the corn maze with her!

I just tucked in the pirate......nite. Happy Halloween to you all :)

~Falling Leaves, Fun Trips, & Laughs~

Brock's 8th grade went on a field trip this week in Dutton District....such a great farm. We cooked out. They are an organic farm and made such delicious food for us all.

~Pumpkin Time~

The last several days have been busy. I've finished up on quite a large project for school, I have begun my last class......yeah, they are piling up the work on this class.....save the best for last, I suppose! Friday was the last high school game (home) and WE WON! Great ending to the season.....Brock had Shane and Brady as company. Saturday we had a road trip to our first Town Hall Meeting in Proctor, Vermont! Fun. Met my favorite politicians.....Bernie Sanders!!! Afterwards, we had a wood-fired pizza at the TapHouse ....Gary got to see a coworker (Jeff) and I met him again....Took Cooper to Garret T.'s birthday at the Rec Center.....Sunday I ran the most beautiful run....countryside...and mountains...did I say mountains? Yes, full hill climbs.....whoa! My time wasn't what I wanted....but the trail run was a little more than I had expected. Pictures are below!

~Champions~

Brock's 8th grade year (as Cooper's) ended well. Cold, rainy, 40 degree wet dusky evening....of football. We (Coop, Hilly, and myself) all rode to Fall Mountain to watch the last game of the season....it was a bittersweet moment. A great victory and a memory we will always keep. The Cosmos had a winning season this year! Brock had a touchdown tonight as well....:) Coach Aiken has been a wonderful coach for his team......win or lose....great season, but those wins, are nice!

I guess it will be on to basketball or whatever sport comes next! I know Hillary cannot wait!

Hillary is pretty pumped...she was selected artist of the week and student of the week.....what's even better she gets to eat lunch with Ms. Perkins on Friday...she is excited!!!

# 11  - Fall Mountain was outmatched...so 8th graders got an early lead----20 to 0 first quarter...so our 8th graders didn't play that much....great game though!

You know I had to take a pic of how neat this was......Cows on campus - man, this Fall Mountain School is so cute! This was right beside the football field.....(notice it's a Belted Galloway in the distance, one of my favorite cows :)

Celebration supper (as Brock says) at House of Pizza in Charlestown. Hillary was all curls after the rain tonight.
