~Thanksgiving & Grateful Things~

Eighteen hours there....no sleep, eighteen hours back, no sleep.....in between....that's the good stuff, well, not to say the drive was all THAT bad.....of course it could've been worse.....right? Had the best time seeing my parents, Mary Ann - Gary, all the ENTIRE family....I even got some great family pics of everyone....and something happened and I have not received them from Big Gary just yet. The kids got a chance to really enjoy their visits from all their FRIENDS......I did as well. Wednesday we all met at nonetheless...Mexican....in Fairview for such a great time with all of our families....getting caught back up where we left off.

I've eaten bad....exercised less in these last several days....bad.....bad, I tell, ya. I did enjoy some nice runs/walks on Luther Lane while I was there....Vandy was ecstatic and in squirrel heaven while there!I had several vocabulary words that also returned as I returned back to my roots: liable & shittin' ass. Yes, without flinch these words creeped into my vocabulary where I least expected it....talking to a good friend and alas, chasing a couple of dogs on my road! He he.

We had an awesome dinner, visited with Granny, Christene, Kara, Ruby & Hilly as well as with Katie. Just being at daycare was a nice feeling for them I'm sure. Brock got to see Z, Blake, Dylan. Oh, and a girlfriend, yes, a girlfriend!
Coop got several days/hours with Kyle and Andrew and Joshua.

.....and a silver lining to a somewhat solemn ride back.... - good tidings which included a surprise cleaning of snow off our deck, complete 3 course supper, among other prizes from none other our great friends here: Joe & Morgan (Ava & Giles). How lucky are we to have such kind, warm- hearted friends? Lucky, real lucky. Here are some pics of late to capture some of these words above.......

Snow we returned to.....did I mention we had stayed up 19 hours driving here to come home and play in SNOW! Yeah! Help me have the energy!

Brock even got out his skis and Coop, the snowboard....

How true for humanity......

The mule, Peanut, stood guard as we left out to head to New England....you think he really knew we were leaving? I had to get out and physically move him! :)

Our tree hunt at Bishop Tree Farm today in Springfield, Vermont.....such an awesome time!

As Tennessee was expecting their first snowfall ....so did Springfield. We woke up to our first coating ....not too much, and eventually turned to rain throughout the day.
Coop has started his basketball practices........got him running here. In addition, all the kids have been going on Saturday mornings to a basketball clinic hosted by the Parks & Rec.

~Golden Leaves & Rollerblading~

Brock spent most of the day Friday playing bball at the Rec Center with Shane. Saturday night he went to a party at Lizzy Parker's with Shane. (This picture is behind the rec center....it was pretty, so naturally, I took a picture!)

Nana thought it would be humorous to send these wildlife postcards to the kids since we have a tiger (lol) that lives close to us!

Ran to CT River the other day....gray day, but still pretty.

Ava spent the night over last night.....many smoothies and much makeup was applied as well as lots of outfit changes! They both practiced the Green Mountain State Song....it is such a pretty song...the students learn it at school meeting days. I enclosed the link below for a listen!
Hilly and Coop tried rollerblading today....they each loved it! The best part of today: Hillary fell at skating and Cooper got her an icepack - he actually took care of her! Actually (no, the fall was not good) but the reaction to the problem was.....Cooper does have <3!!!!!

Today was beautiful, cold but beautiful. It is 30 something, and TENNESSEE got snow before this part of Vermont!!! Amazing. I suppose the predictions will be accurate....at least for now.
