Eighteen hours there....no sleep, eighteen hours back, no sleep.....in between....that's the good stuff, well, not to say the drive was all THAT bad.....of course it could've been worse.....right? Had the best time seeing my parents, Mary Ann - Gary, all the ENTIRE family....I even got some great family pics of everyone....and something happened and I have not received them from Big Gary just yet. The kids got a chance to really enjoy their visits from all their FRIENDS......I did as well. Wednesday we all met at nonetheless...Mexican....in Fairview for such a great time with all of our families....getting caught back up where we left off.
I've eaten bad....exercised less in these last several days....bad.....bad, I tell, ya. I did enjoy some nice runs/walks on Luther Lane while I was there....Vandy was ecstatic and in squirrel heaven while there!I had several vocabulary words that also returned as I returned back to my roots: liable & shittin' ass. Yes, without flinch these words creeped into my vocabulary where I least expected it....talking to a good friend and alas, chasing a couple of dogs on my road! He he.
We had an awesome dinner, visited with Granny, Christene, Kara, Ruby & Hilly as well as with Katie. Just being at daycare was a nice feeling for them I'm sure. Brock got to see Z, Blake, Dylan. Oh, and a girlfriend, yes, a girlfriend!
Coop got several days/hours with Kyle and Andrew and Joshua.
.....and a silver lining to a somewhat solemn ride back.... - good tidings which included a surprise cleaning of snow off our deck, complete 3 course supper, among other prizes from none other our great friends here: Joe & Morgan (Ava & Giles). How lucky are we to have such kind, warm- hearted friends? Lucky, real lucky. Here are some pics of late to capture some of these words above.......
xoxo,
