~ Pond Hockey, Winter Days ~

Yesterday I tried something.....I had never tried before.....pond hockey.....may be borderline stupidity too! What fun, but on the same note.....lots of injuries.....padding is key! Ice is unforgiving for sure!!!! Needless to say, yesterday I iced my knew with a nice bag of frozen corn from the freezer (swollen) and collar bone hurts, and my hip....oh it's pretty - black, swollen bruise instantly. On another note, the kids had a blast at the Winter Festival - sledding! Hillary and Cooper both had a great basketball practice this weekend (Morgan, Keith, and I)!

It was a busy week....the boys are at the mountain as I type this and soon will be home. We have more snow on the way......at least another foot on top of the foot and a half of what we already have on the ground. (psst....it is pretty though) This morning Gary, Hilly, and I went to our favorite country store for breakfast.....we may have been the only car on the road.....probably not the smartest move, huh?

Shockingly, one of our close friends had to have surgery this week (Joe ;) - due to appendix (Ava's dad). The silver lining is he was put on the Labor and Delivery floor at the hospital, so we got to make fun of him all the same! Lol!
