If today could have been depicted through a visual image for November 1st.... It would have looked like today, but maybe cooler. It was foggy, cloudy, misting rain, grey, bleak with tawny branches outlining the leftovers of leaves hanging and ones fallen. My kind of day, really. I do appreciate days just like this.....Today was spent with church time, kids to Chunk E. Cheese...yes, I said that right :) We took them to Chunk E.Cheese after a much overdue trip....like a year and a half. They enjoyed themselves very much and one of Cooper's friends showed up there as well (out of the blue). This was good. Cooper and Hillary were the only ones that tagged along to join us, Brock is too big and skipped the trip.
And, speaking of skipping trips.....last night was the first night Brock did not go trick-or-treating...yeah, I know it's time, I guess :(
Cooper didn't do much treating (lost without his brother along).....but what they did do: A haunted house when we got back home with the Browns. Cooper and Brock actually worked together to plan a scheme and plot the whole idea.....that, my friends, is a silver lining...they don't happen often, but when they do....... magic! (Which by the way, Ava, Giles, and Hillary had a big time all together ----Trick or Treating)! Several houses were all decked out with haunted houses and people to scare us!
In the mean time, Hillary had her last practice this week, a team celebration, and her last game on Saturday. She's still busy with basketball and we will soon have a game the first weekend of December.
Last week we all went to haunted houses.....Giles, Ava, Hillary, Cooper, Kyle....pictures to follow....we ended up at Cumberland Furnace....out in the country. Great one though! Morgan made some Shepherd's Pie for supper before we all went out!
Brock played against Trousdale County this weekend. It was a great game! Far away....but great game.
Since my photo loader loads from my phone and my typing for this blog is by computer....it takes a while for them both to meet. But tonight it finally happened.
