~Living Rustic~ :)

Well, I told Mama she has a had a week of encampment living...lol. We've made meringue by whisk (good workout for the arms....), no electricity for 24 hours, and no air conditioning....ha! We've managed and it has been good!

Today's Fourth of July so we will celebrate around some of the local towns.....all of the mountains nearby are having celebrations, so finding some shouldn't be difficult. As for Cooper, he wants to leave now and move back to Tennessee! He hates not having fireworks! lol  (I could live without them...but I understand loving them ....I did too as a kid!)

4th of July also brings me a year older....(well, tomorrow).....Tomorrow I will run (hopefully with everyone in the family) the race in Londonderry, VT.

Here's some pictures as of late:
Bonfire and marshmallow roast.....smores.....Hillary had begged for.....

Greeting Mama at the airport :)

Sand art at Library in Ludlow

Ball park.....Chester....VT

Rainy summer evening at Grafton Village Country Store....I felt like we were in the 1700's again!

Singleton's (much like Bon Aqua's Holland & Dotson's ) Meat Market (and other stuff) I loved the welcoming of the honey bee nest as you entered through the front door....gotta love it! This was like FEAR FACTOR for Cooper.....Hillary laughed as she walked through the swarm....funny.

Homemade chocolate pies...speaking of, I need to go run.....

Hillary and Haddie - swimming.

Coop - last game against Chester, VT

Hunter Walker's granddad brought ice cream for all the teams after the last game of the season....such a nice and kind gesture! We barely beat the storm!
