~Giving Thanks~

I have this delayed response going strong here...with my pics followed by words, later, much later.......Well, here's to the idiom: Better late than Never.....Yes, that's right. One of my best friends always used to say, "If I'm not late, I'm not coming!" lol

I think I share those same words to live by....in most instances. Well, these past few days have been so much fun. Late nights, busy, but great for catching up with laughs and fun times with friends and co-workers.

Have you ever heard my stories of baking and cookies and brownies? Well, have you ever seen a running dive to 1st base? That 's how I run to the oven every time (almost 99%) of the time when I smell the cookies getting burnt.....Yes, so bad that Cooper writes of my burning the cookies in his memoir for school. Sad, isn't it? Truth is sad sometimes. Ah, but it's life.

I like this song lately:

I really hope I can carve some time to write during my Christmas break. I must read a book....I must say I HAVE NOT READ as of YET....I'm awful: The Outsiders.......

Read: Letters from Rifka....it is so good. And, did you know??? The author is from Brattleboro....awe. I love that. I do!

Today my memory from last year was Hilly and I making a our first snowman larger than her.....we were out of school due to the LARGE snowstorm supposedly coming in......:)

Jody passed yesterday. It is sad. I feel sorry for her and her life in many ways. I did get a chance to see her before she left this world, which I am happy I did.

And, yes, try using "Amount to a hill of beans" Example:
I don't know if it will amount to a hill of beans , but I just thought I'd write the whole problem out so you can see the difference.

Go on take it to the next level and use it....I did on a very formal phone call this past week. I was like where did that come from?!?! That ole south creeps in through the cracks when I least expect it. Enjoy.

This right here will be our Christmas card this year.......Coop has a goat, but you cannot tell.

Brock putting his favorite ornament up ......

To those of you that wonder......

Yes, I was a little scared holding this......I felt a little scared and a little bit like I was on the set for Shrek.

Thanksgiving fun....such a beauty of a day

We were sneaky and decorated the Brown's house up for them :)

Merry Christmas and Dirty Christmas , too! Lol

Joe sent me these here from VT when they went up to visit......:)

I think we should be in this picture too......:(

Morning run......quite invigorating

Hilly and Daddy hanging lights......the struggle.....the perserverance

Truth......
